There is an application on the iPhone that let's you take a picture of a barcode and see the prices of a product from different online retailers. Esquire is taking advantage of this kind of technology and implementing barcodes in their advertising. This is an interesting application of technology advancement and it is very innovative. They say a person must see an ad at least 3 times before they decide on purchasing, this may reduce this number significantly. There have been many times that I have looked at an item in a magazine and thought to myself how I would like it. However I would turn the page and another ad would show and with the amount of ads we are exposed to many times we could forget what interested us in the first place. If we had the option of purchasing these items on the spot would definitely make ads more effective.

First Post
I've tried to use blogs in the past but I find that I never would keep them up. They remind me of personal journals which I never really had much use for either. The problem is that I have so many thoughts in my mind that writing them down causes my mind to slow down and to think. Don't get me wrong, that is not a bad thing it just feels as though I am writing to an audience of 0.
